Job and Internship Search Toolkit
S.T.A.R. (Situation, Task, Action, Result) provides a valuable outline to concisely communicate a specific story that shows, instead of just tells, employers about your KSAs (knowledge, skills, and abilities). Use this method to create effective resume bullet points, cover letter paragraphs, and to structure interview answers.
Each resume should be tailored for a specific internship or job, and we generally do not recommend using a stock template.
